Michael J. Treece
Mr. Treece is a 1984 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where he majored in business administration and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Chi honor fraternities. In 1988, he received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, after which he began representing community associations throughout the Greater Houston area. For more than 25 years, Mr. Treece’s practice has included HOA collections, foreclosures, deed restriction enforcement and related HOA activities. He has also handled a wide variety of litigation, as well as Probate and Estate Planning matters.
Mr. Treece is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbel, and he is licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of Texas to practice in all State Courts and certain Federal Courts. Mike has retained current or past membership in the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, American Bar Association, and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. His speaking / teaching engagements include Continuing Legal Education seminars, local bar associations and numerous civic organizations.

Vivian Tomlinson
Prior to joining the firm, Vivian worked as General Counsel for a real estate developer and home building company where she focused on commercial and residential real estate, transactional and corporate matters. She has experience working with real estate developers in relation to the creation of communities and community associations. Ms. Tomlinson also worked for the City of Houston’s Real Estate Branch focusing on land acquisitions and condemnation. Her practice emphasizes the representation of property owners associations with respect to corporate matters, collections, and deed restriction enforcement. She also interacts with and assists property owners associations, developers, and corporations with regard to real estate transactions, corporate matters, drafting of legal documentation and contract disputes.
